Club Maintenance
Club members took advantage of the good weather and carried out a bit of club maintenance. Grass cutting was in full flow alongside the joys of having a tidal slipway, namely getting rid of algae, weed and mud. It is a much needed activity for safe and trouble free boat launching and recovery.
…Assisting the RNLI
ABC slipway is often used by the local RNLI team for launch training and recovery after call outs. Nice to be able to help out a little.
Team Spirit - Rowing The Atlantic & Preparing via ABC
We will be following Chris and the team as they use the club slipway to launch and return during their preparations for rowing the Atlantic........ yes rowing the distance of 3000 miles across the Atlantic from Spain to Antigua.

Weights & Burgers
This weekend some members got together for a fishing lead weight making and BBQ session. It was well attended throughout the day and the club now have a ready supply of weights for the forthcoming seasons fishing. Well done to the committee members who organised it.
